Info 2012:
The third release on SLICES OF LIFE comes from the Berlin based DJ and producer BAAZ, who has been gaining steady growing attention by House Music lovers. in 2008 Daniel Bell reactivated his Elevate label to release a Baaz 12inch. This ep alongside the releases on Agnes' label STHML Audio opened up the door for very productive collaborations with other labels and dj's.
The 3 tracks on SLICES OF LIFE show Baaz's focus on deep pure and House grooves that roll on massively, without using obvious effects and frills. The A side "Judy's Bass" clearly reveals Baaz's love for fat bass drums and bass lines in combination with classic drum machine and percussion elements while the strings carry you away endlessly. With "Jeally" on B1 Baaz dives even deeper into percussion programming and creates a perfect track for the late hours. Carbon Hair (B2) is driven by warm dubby beats and open high hats.
